Scope of
Works

Acting as Principal Contractor, Hankinson Protective Coatings team have been working on behalf of Lancashire County Council on Halton Station Bridge. Halton Station Bridge consists of concrete jack arches with wrought iron soffit girders, sat on 5No wrought iron piers spaced approximately 20m apart. At parapet level there are wrought iron lattice sections.

Erection of a rolling scaffold to allow corrosion protection of ferrous materials by industrial coatings to existing structural steelwork.

Preparation of steelwork to clean steel/sound paint via a combination of hand/mechanical means, followed by the application of the Highways Approved Type I(M) system via brush/roller.
